Ron Griffin is building this new railroad in HO scale. Ron sent in some Pic's & a few details on what he's up to. Ron writes:

"This is a big surprise.  I doubt that my railroad deserves to be on the website!

I really don't have a name for it.  I'm using the Detroit & Mackinac as a prototype for equipment, circa 1965.  I like Alco RS2s and the gray and maroon color scheme.  It is a freelanced 12' x 14' industrial switching layout based at Bay City.   So I guess we can call it "D & M at Bay City".  It is based on David Barrow's domino bench work.  Each domino is 24" x 48".  The table top is 3/8" plywood and 1/4" upsom board sandwich.  The backdrop is 1/8" masonite.  Track and turnouts are code 75 Peco.  I intend all turnouts to be thrown by hand except for a couple that will be difficult to reach and they are/will be using Tortoise switch machines and dtdp switches.  I've wired the dominoes for EasyDCC, although I haven't purchased the system yet.  In the interim, I hook up an old pulse power DC power pack and "run a train"!  The peninsula that extends into the center of the layout is the main yard, around the walls will be two separate routes, "the High Line, and the Low Line".  There will be two interchange points, 5 bigger industries and 5 smaller industries.  It will probably be able to keep 3 or 4 operators busy.

I'm afraid that's about it so far.  Work continues........."

Well Ron, Everyone deserves their 15 minutes of...fame...web time...whatever, and since you not only sent me pictures, but also provided some insight on what it was all about, heck...I'll copy & paste your stuff any day!
