Here are some handy software links that can save you a (very small) fortune, and maybe save your Butt!

To view many pages that are published in Acrobat, you'll want the latest viewer. www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Don't spread Hoax's! Check them out before you send them around to everyone.

I hate spam! So I've looked around for some good ways to fix my email address to limit this...Here's a good suggestion for those of you who go on lots of mail lists...which spammers like to mine for good address's:    http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm

Want free virus software that (usually) doesn't do weird things to your system? Try AVG.  This (free for home use) software doesn't crash things, and I really like the price!

Want to know how secure your computer is to a hack attack? Go here! Scroll down to the Test my Shields and Test my Ports buttons, and try it.

When you visit certain area's on the internet, you pick up little programs called Ad-Ware, that attach to your browser and slows you down. You can find out about these programs by going here. There is a good free-ware program, called Ad-Aware, the can rid your computer of these spy programs.

I really hate those darn pop-up windows, so when I'm getting a lot of that sort of action, I kill my browser, fire up PopUpStopper, & re-start my browser for less stressing surfing.

Here's a neat site called majorgeeks.com that has lot's of software & advice on fixing your computer. Their slogan is "Geek it 'till it MHz"
